We strive to accommodate our patient’s routine and urgent needs. Routine office follow up and annual examinations are scheduled daily, Monday through Thursday, and are scheduled in advance. We also have same day and same week appointments that are held in reserve and are available upon request. If the appointment you are seeking is not available for online scheduling through the portal, then call the office (310.643.7494) and we will do our best to meet your needs. We do not accept walk in, no appointment visits.

What We Offer
Mellman Medical is a full-service Internal Medicine office designed to evaluate and treat simple and complex medical problems. We are often referred to as “diagnosticians” which means that when you come to the office our approach is to define the nature and extent of your medical needs and offer suggestions regarding diagnosis and treatment.

The BEST doctor I’ve ever had! Dr. Mellman is an excellent doctor that truly cares about his patients, is committed to my health and overall well being. Dr. Mellman and his staff have always been there for me. Providing an excellent level of care and service that is simply incomparable! Finally, I have to travel all around the world for work, but I ALWAYS come home to Dr. Mellman!
Dr. Mellman and his team are incredible. I feel like I have a partner in Dr. Mellman. Many doctors don’t get to know you and just give you drugs. Not Dr. Mellman, he spends time with his patients, gets to know them and works to heal them the right way and not the easy drug-focused way. He is amazing. It is not about the money, but helping his patients. I only caution to send reviews and I know the rest of his patients probably do too as he is very busy because he is so loved by his current patients, but he deserves it and I’m so appreciative of him. I wish he would practice medicine until my children are old! But, I know we still have many years with him and for that I am so thankful!
Dr. Mellman is an excellent doctor who treats patients as if they are intelligent human beings. He answers questions thoroughly and tells you WHY he wants to do tests and what leads him to want answers to these tests. He also has no problem answering questions from friends or family who have accompanied you to your appointment.

Dr. Mellman is fantastic. He’s kind, compassionate, and a great listener. I feel like I’m his favorite patient, though I’m sure every patient feels the same way. He’s been my Doc for 35 years.

I drive 45 minutes to Dr. Mellman’s office not because I like driving but because it is the most comfortable, pleasant, polite and efficient office I have ever seen.
Both Dr. Mellman and Physician Assistant Rebecca Pestle are knowledgeable and, what is so important for me, act as my professional advisors, not bosses. They hear me out, check out my symptoms and complaints and kindly suggest the course of action.
Today I had an additional pleasant experience, drawing blood, which I am normally terrified of. Nurse Angie made the ordeal painless and uneventful. (See attached photo).
I can wholeheartedly recommend this office to anybody who wants to get kind and competent medical care.
Dr. Mellman- Well the Doc has been my Doctor for some time. He’s truly one of a kind. At 64 I have had a few. I actually look forward to Dr’s visit. The Office help is what makes going there so easy , Thalia, Gina,and Abbie are the Best. Mickey give them a raise Please. No kidding aside. No one wants to go to Doctors office it means something not right, your getting old etc,etc,etc. Trust is what I get from Dr. Mellman and his Staff Thank you Dr Mellman and Thank You ladies for making what could be uncomfortable comfortable, and I’m sorry but there was another young lady today who drew my blood I didn’t get her name but it was painless.
