CHANGE IN TESTING GUIDELINES AND AVAILABILITY
LA County has changed its testing guidelines making tests to all symptomatic individuals with priority given to at risk individuals and healthcare workers. There is also an ongoing expansion of drive through test sites. See the link below for information regarding this policy change and the embedded link for the site to apply for testing.
INFORMATION REGARDING PREGNANT WOMEN AND THEIR BABIES
Publication of an article looking at pregnant women and their babies. Small number of subjects but the best available guidance. No increased impact of COVID-19 on pregnant women and no transmission to babies either in utero or via breast milk. These are limited studies and will need to be confirmed but the best we have available at this time.
